Mark Fisher MD graduated from Hahnemann Medical College in 1973 with honors in medicine and an MD degree and performed an Internal Medicine residency at Hahnemann Hospital from 1973-1976. Following this, he performed a fellowship program at Temple University Hospital for training in the specialty of Rheumatology from 1976 - 1978.He has enjoyed a private solo practice in the specialty of Rheumatology since that time with offices currently in Haddon Heights and Hammonton, New Jersey Dr. Fisher is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the specialty of Internal Medicine and also the subspecialty of Rheumatology.In addition; he is a certified clinical densitometrist in the interpretation of DEXA scans for the diagnosis and assessment of osteoporosis.

Dr. Fisher created an infusion center in his office in 1999 for the proper and comprehensive management of Rheumatoid Arthritis when biologics became available. This made a dramatic and huge difference in the lives of our patients. Later, he started treating psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis patients in a similar way with fantastic results. Our patients with osteoporosis who were unable to tolerate oral medications have been able to receive intravenous therapies in the infusion center successfully.

Dr. Fisher continues to improve himself in all aspects of Rheumatological diseases with ongoing continuing education courses and professional society and association meetings. He is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology , a member of the NJ Rheumatology Association, Philadelphia Rheumatism Society American College of Physicians AMA NJ Medical Society , and the Camden County Medical Society . He has been involved in giving lectures on various Rheumatological Diseases to physician groups in local hospitals as well as various community groups over the years. He has also been actively involved in the medical education of medical students and residents.

As a clinical investigator, Dr. Fisher has participated in numerous clinical trials in his office enrolling many patients in phase 2 and phase 3 trials under the sponsorship of different pharmaceutical companies in pioneering new medications for the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis including new biologics, Osteoarthritis,and Pain Management.

On the personal side, this is a very active individual engaging in physical exercise on a regular basis and he has been an avid and accomplished Ballroom Dancer, participating in showcase performances and competitions over the years. He enjoys golf outings when time permits and the theater including the Pennsylvania Ballet performances.
